Yahoo Mail Pop Setup

login to yahoo mail

go to your inbox

click on "options" in the top right of the window

then click on "mail options"

select "accounts" from the left sidebar

click "add or edit an account"

click the "add" button

enter your e-mail address, e.g. mymail@mydomain.com, for "account name"

click the "continue" button on the bottom of the page

step 2

enter your name

enter your e-mail address, e.g. mymail@mydomain.com

click the "continue" button on the bottom of the page

step 3

mail server: mail.mydomain.com
username (example): mymail@mydomain.com
password: enter your password
indicator: anything is ok
options: un-check all of the boxes

click the "setup mail server" button on the bottom of the page

double check the e-mail address you entered, then...

click the "send verification" button

LEAVE THIS WINDOW OPEN

IN A NEW WINDOW

go to: https://www.signalpoint.net/secure-webmail

click on "click here" to login to the secure webmail server

enter your e-mail address, e.g. mymail@mydomain.com, for the user name

enter your password, same password as in step 3 above

then login

select a webmail program to use, we recommed round cube

go to your inbox

look for an e-mail "Yahoo! Email Address Confirmation"

double click on it to open the e-mail

in the email body, copy the "Confirmation Code" from #3

GO BACK TO YAHOO WINDOW

paste the confirmation code it back into the yahoo window

click the "verify account" button on the bottom of the page

if all goes well, you should appear on the "Mail Accounts" page and a
message should say:

"You can now send email from mymail@mydomain.com using the
"From" pulldown on the Compose page."

below the "add, edit, delete" butttons, you should see a select window
with e.g. mymail@mydomain.com in it, click on it to
highlight/select it

then in the little window that appears to the right...

+ click "make default" if you wish to have your yahoo mail compose
message screen default send the e-mail from e.g.
mymail@mydomain.com

+ click "check mail" and it should download one e-mail "Downloaded one
message from mymail@mydomain.com at mail.mydomain.com
into folder Inbox." You can delete this message (Yahoo! Email Address
Confirmation) because you will no longer need it.

You're all done!

Now you can send/receive e-mail from e.g. mymail@mydomain.com

To send mail, just compose a message like you normally would, then you
can use the drop down menu next to the "from" section to select which
e-mail address you would like to send this e-mail from

To check your e-mail click the down arrow next to the "check mail"
button, and you will see a sub option to check e-mail from e.g.
mymail@mydomain.com
