Shout Wire provides the means to start discussions on all news items and also provides a world map with markers for areas of the world that have "Shouted" the news. Shout Wire also provides a "news feed" that other websites can use to display the most recent news from Shout Wire.

Shout Wire became so popular that www.torrentspy.com (a top 200 website - 2006) utilized Shout Wire's news feed on their home page. Signal Point Network was with Shout Wire from day one and implemented many of the site's features. Shout Wire's growth continued and in late 2006 it was sold to an investment group.
